Hi, I'm Lance.
I have over 14 years experience as a professional acrobat working for companies such as Franco Dragone Entertainment, Sea World San Diego and Chimelong International Circus. I have had the opportunity to travel throughout the United States, Asia and Europe as a high diver, acrobat & aerialist. I received training in Russian swing, diving and aerial arts from coaches from Cirque du Soleil and Franco Dragone. I received my training in Circus Arts Instruction from the Ecole Nationale de Cirque in Montreal.
My interest in acrobatics began as a kid from watching Jackie Chan movies and jumping on the backyard trampoline. I took those trampoline skills to the diving board, which opened the door for performing in high diving shows through out the country. Locally (if you're a Utahn) I've performed in the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, the Utah Blaze stunt shows, Utah Jazz dunk shows, Mayan Adventure Restaurant, and various high-end corporate events. I was a collegiate cheerleader as well as a starting lacrosse player at my university.
I am the owner and director of Aerobatics Performing Arts, a circus training facility in Utah. I have a wonderful wife and 2 children, with one more on the way.
I hope to provide aspiring acrobats with information on how to become a professional performer, insight into my life as an acrobat, business owner & dad, as well as tips for maximizing your circus training.
